Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Arusha in the morning and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. The park encompasses the northwest bank and part of the alkaline Lake Manyara, which itself rests in the Great Rift Valley. The park is perhaps best known for its flamingos, pelicans, and cormorants, but it is also the home for a few hundred other species of birds; it is therefore a paradise for ornithologists. Baboons and vervet monkeys are also found among the forested areas, and in the more open spaces, giraffes nibble at the fresh leaves while the various types of antelopes common to the region browse for tasty shoots.
Start your day by leaving for Serengeti National Park via the breathtaking Ngorongoro highlands. One of the seven natural wonders of Africa, Serengeti National Park is known for its stunning wildebeest migration. The park is home to all the big predators and has a fabulous landscape. We will go back to our accommodation in the late hours, and overnight we will stay in Serengeti.
After breakfast, depart for central Serengeti, which is known for its abundant wildlife and varied landscapes. Stop for a picnic lunch en route, and arrive at your camp in the late afternoon. Spend the evening relaxing around the campfire and listening to the sounds of the African bush.
Today is dedicated to exploring the central Serengeti, which is home to the iconic Seronera Valley and its famous resident predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Enjoy a full day of game drives, with plenty of opportunities to spot large herds of wildebeest and other grazing animals.
Another full day in the central Serengeti provides ample time to explore this incredible region. Head out early to catch the wildlife at their most active, and spend the day tracking animals and learning about the local ecosystem.
After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro, one of the most famous wildlife conservation areas in Africa. Stop for lunch en route and arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon. Enjoy a relaxing evening and prepare for tomorrow's adventure.
Today, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of game viewing. The crater is home to an incredible array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, hyenas, and more. In the late afternoon, depart to Mto wa Mbu or Karatu, where you will spend the night and prepare for Tarangire game drive.
Spend the day exploring Tarangire National Park, which is known for its large herds of elephants and stunning baobab trees. After lunch, depart for Arusha, where you will spend your final night in Tanzania.
