5 Days Uganda Rwanda safari

Includes chimpanzee tracking or habituation experience in Kibale Forest; game drives and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park and gorilla tracking in the northern sector of bwindi Impenetrable national park. Arrive through Entebbe international airport and exit through Kigali international airport in Rwanda.

Day 1: Kampala – Kibale Forest national park

Our tour guide will pick you from your hotel and proceed to Kibale forest national park. It is a 4 hours drive to Kibale forest. After lunch at Chimp nest Lodge enjoy an afternoon nature walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary – a home to beautiful forest birds including blue Turraco; primates, butterflies, etc. Overnight stay at Lodge / Camp or similar other

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest

After breakfast Soon transfer to Kanyanchu kibale forest park headquarters for a briefing from the park ranger and at 8:00 am the guide will transfer you to the trail head – the beginning point of chimpanzee tracking. This activity normally takes 4 hours. In the after-lunch transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Visit the salt mining quarry at Katwe before checking in at the lodge. Overnight stay at Ihamba Safari Lodge / Enganzi Lodge / Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 3: Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth national park

Very early in the morning, begin with a game drive following the Kasenyi track anticipating lions, leopards, antelopes, buffaloes, elephants, etc. Return to the lodge for your breakfast and relaxation. In the afternoon go for a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. The wildlife along the river banks is overwhelming. This is the major highlight of this park. Overnight stay at Ihamba Safari Lodge / Enganzi Lodge / Mweya Safari Lodge

Day 4: Game drive in Ishasha and transfer to Bwindi

Begin with a game drive in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth national park – the Ishasha game reserve. The tree climbing lions in this part of the park are a big spectacle; elsewhere you can locate them in the northern part of Tanzania – Lake Manyara and Serengeti national parks. Proceed to Bwindi Forest national park for your overnight at Gorilla Forest Camp or Silverback Lodge where Gorillas sometimes spend an overnight with guests at a fireplace.

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking and transfer to Kigali international airport

In the morning our tour guide will lead you to the park headquarters for briefing from the park ranger and begin your gorilla trek. Every gorilla family is visited by a maximum of 8 people on a daily basis. After spending at least an hour with the gorillas return to the lodge for a hot lunch and transfer to Rwanda for you evening scheduled flight. This package is perfects for travellers whose flights begin from 9:00 pm onwards.

    5 Days Luxury Tour

    Day 1: KIGALI

    The arrival of your flight at Kigali International Airport. Meet and Greet assistance. You will be warmly welcomed by our Uber Luxe Safaris representative outside customs and immigration hall. Transfer to Kigali Serena Hotel. Check in then dinner and overnight stay.

    Day 2: KIGALI – CITY TOUR/ DRIVE TO MUSANZE

    Early in the Morning, you will be assisted with check out and briefed about your tour. You will then proceed on a morning tour of Kigali city that includes The Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, Inema arts centre & Inzuki designs. Lunch will be at the Khana KazanaHeaven Restaurant.

    Highlight: After the 1994 unspeakable awfulness, several burial places in the country were established as memorial sites. They include the Kigali Genocide Memorial where 250,000 genocide victims were buried. Learn about Rwanda’s history from pre-colonial times to the 1994 genocide; learn about other genocides in the world and how this country has dealt with that past. After lunch, we will embark on a leisurely drive to MUSANZE AND VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK. Arrive in the evening and check in at the Bisate lodge, dinner and overnight stay

    Day 3: VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK (GORILLA TREK)

    Early breakfast at the hotel then proceed to the park headquarters in time for Gorilla Trek briefing. We will then transfer you to the start point of your guided walk that begins at 08h00. Here, your amazing adventure begins.

    Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range and is the home of the rare mountain gorilla and the rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp, and heath, but the high point will be spending an hour with the remarkably peaceful gorillas despite their size and appearance as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing, resting and raising their young.

    After this memorable experience, you will return to the lodge for lunch and some much-needed rest. Optional, boat ride on Lake Ruhondo or do the Dianne Fossey Tomb hike. Dinner and overnight stay at the Bisate lodge.

    Day 4: VOLCANOES (GOLDEN MONKEY/ VILLAGE TOUR)/ Nyungwe

    Another early breakfast and then transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before you start your guided Golden Monkey Trek

    Trekking to see the golden monkeys is another highlight of Volcanoes National Park. The Golden Monkey (CercopithecusMitisKandti) is a local subspecies of the widespread Sykes Monkey, also known as the “Blue Monkey” and is endemic to the high-altitude forests. The monkeys are playful and inquisitive and often spend their time leaping from bamboo branches or frolicking on the forest floor. There are two habituated groups of Golden Monkey, one group comprises around 80 - 100 members and has its home at the foot of Mt Sabyinyo

    Be picked up at your hotel by our driver and take part in a Kigali city trip including a visit to the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gisozi. You will have a chance to interact with the local people; discovering the artisanal products (collars, bracelets, etc…), then transfer back to Kigali airport. Here is where your safari will end.

    Rwanda Gorilla & Lake Kivu Tour

    Day 1: Arrive Kigali and Transfer to Ruhengeri

    You will be met by Africa Natural Tours and Safari driver/guide at the Kigali International airport - meets and greeting, comment on the safari then Driving and Overnight at the hotel Muhabura/Virunga (here for your wish you can choose to sleep in Kigali depending on Time arrived at the airport

    Day 2: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park

    Transfer to volcanoes national park breakfast. The morning you must be at the office of RDB at 7:00 for a comment of the trekking of gorillas and briefing by the Volcanoes National Park’s guides. After you will have lunch at the Hotel then afternoon Visit of Twin lakes BURERA and RUHONDO. Overnight at the Hotel

    Day 3: Bisoke Hiking

    Have a second day Bisoke Volcano Hiking. We encourage for your own enjoyment to make sure that you are perfectly fit and healthy. It is important to bring good hiking boots, long trousers, gloves for protection against stinging nettles, some snacks & as well as sufficient water as the rain forest gets hot and humid during the day. You will spend 5 to 7Hours Climbing , but it is hours you will never forget. then after Return to your hotel for lunch and later proceeding Gisenyi dinner and overnight there.

    Day 4: Lake Kivu

    Soon breakfast, you will have a morning boat ride on the lake. You will have a chance to see bird species and different water animals on the lake shore. Overnight at the Paradi Malahide/Ubum we hotel

    Day 5: Gisenyi – Kigali

    Pick up at your hotel driver to Kigali, have Kigali city trip including the visit of the Genocide Memorial Centre at Gizozi, contacts with local people for the discovery of artisanal products (Collar, Bracelet, etc…), then transfer towards Kigali airport.
