The short answer is that the temperatures on Mount Kilimanjaro range from hot to bitter cold. Climbing Kilimanjaro is unique for many reasons, and one of these is that from origin to summit, climbers find themselves weaving through several distinct climate zones. It is said that the journey from the gate to the peak is like traveling from the equator to Antarctica in a matter of days! Mount Kilimanjaro has five major ecological zones, each approximately 3,280 feet (1,000 m) in altitude. Each zone is subject to a corresponding decrease in rainfall, temperature and flora/fauna as the altitude increases.
Moshi, the gateway town from which our climbs are organized, is located just south of the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. At 2,667 feet (900 m) above sea level, the town is located in the lowest, warmest ecological zone. On Mount Kilimanjaro there are main five climatic zones from the starting point up to the summit (destination) at uhuru peak. You will be climbing through five main Kilimanjaro climatic zones. The lower slopes, This zone is reach of Cultivation and rain forest will be hot and humid and experience the most rainfall.
The heath and moorland, Mostly during this zone precipitation is mostly fog and mist and temperatures can drop dramatically at night. Also the zone it’s alpine zone is cooler and has less rainfall.
The alpine desert zone During this zone has very little rainfall, with scorching sun and freezing temperatures at night.
Arctic Zone This zone is the mountain at its most unreceptive. Resentfully cold, hardly any rainfall extremely little surface water and no protection from the sun.

Kilimanjaro is close to the equator and it has the same four seasons as the more temperate parts. There are months in the year has rainy seasons other months with dry seasons.

When Is the Best Time of Year to Climb Kilimanjaro

During April and November there are rainy seasons which can be more dangerous to trek Mount Kilimanjaro. Anyone can climb Kilimanjaro at any time of the year but other months are better than April and November. It is advised to climb Mount Kilimanjaro at the best months. Like January, February and other months of the year. You are needed to climb Mount Kilimanjaro during the dry months to avoid April and November.
Most tour operators are likely to ride their clients during dry seasons of the year. However Mount Kilimanjaro can be climbed anytime to the year. In order to make your expedition enjoyable you are advised climbing during the dry seasons. These dry seasons including

We recommended that the tour operator should do the activities of riding their clients during full moon because during a full moon the summit success rate of Mount Kilimanjaro is particularly not hard. When you are climbing during full moon months the moonlight will improve your visibility all the way through your climb most importantly during you are at the top of the roof of Africa.
You can achieve well to reach the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro when you are trekking during full moon seasons which are the best period to climb the highest mountains like Kilimanjaro and other highest mountains like Mount Everest in Himalaya. However, it's not recommended to reach the summit on the exact full moon date to take advantage of the moonlight. During full moon it is easier to reach at uhuru peak as you wish.
