Outstanding 14 days Tanzania Luxury Lodge safari | Zanzibar Holiday Adventure. This one of safari that takes you to climbing Kilimanjaro, and visit national parks in the North of Tanzania as well taking you to Zanzibar Island for a relaxing beach holiday. The safari includes the visit to the most famous wildlife areas including the Kilimanjaro National Park, Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti National Park, and the beautiful Tarangire National Park. Apart from the animals and birds that you enjoy seeing, we have also included a visit to a Masai village in the Ngorongoro conservation area which always excites all, as you get to learn about the unique cultures and traditions of the African people.

Day 1: Arrive in Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International airport, you will meet your Africa Natural Tours guide. This will take you to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha and the rest of the day is at leisure, you can relax and enjoy the African atmosphere.

Day two (2): Kilimanjaro National Park Gate to Mandara Hut

• Rising: 5,500 ft / 1,700 m to 9,000 ft / 2,740 m
• Stretch: 7 km
• Hike time: 4-5 hours
• Climatic habitat: Montane Forest
• Meals: L, D
• Shelter: Mandara Hut
After having breakfast and consultation, a driver from Africa Natural Tours will drive you to the Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (45 minutes), hiker(s) will be required to register and begin the climb. Hiker(s) will walk through the rainforest to the Mandara camping area. A side trip to Maundi Crater is an excellent means to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. In the rainforest, look for rising Eucalyptus trees, Colobus monkeys, and bird life which is attractive and beautiful.

Day three (3): Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

• Rising: 9,000 ft / 2,700 m to 12,100 ft / 3,700 m
• Stretch: 11 km
• Hike time: 6-8 hours
• Climatic habitat: Heathland/ Moorland
• Meals: B, L, D
• Shelter: Horombo Hut
Hiker(s) will leave the openings of the rainforest and follow an ascending path on the open hills to the Horombo camping area. Visibility of the summit of Kibo and Mawenzi are awesome. Look for groundsels and giant lobelias. Hiker(s) may arise to feel the effects of the gaining of altitude.

Day four (4): Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

• Rising: 12,100 ft / 3,700 m to 15,400 ft / 4,700 m
• Stretch: 10 km
• Hike time: 6-8 hours
• Climatic habitat: Alpine Desert
• Meals: B, L, D
• Shelter: Kibo Hut
Climbing up on Marangu route, we now pass the last watering point, walking into the saddle of Kilimanjaro between the peaks of Kibo and Mawenzi. Vegetation arises with upper heathland but then disappears into “moonscape”. Hiker(s) eat, relaxation, and prepare for summit climb.

Day five (5): Kibo Hut to Summit then Horombo Hut

•Rising: 15,400 ft / 4,700 m to 19,300 ft / 5,895 m 19,300 ft / 5,895 m to 12,100 ft / 3,700 m
•Stretch: 4 km up / 14 km down
•Hike time: 10-15 hours
•Climatichabitat: Alpine Desert
•Meals: B, L, D
•Shelter: Horombo Camp
Very early in the morning (from midnight to 2 am) hiker(s) commence the climb to the summit on steep and heavy scree or snow up to Gilman’s point located on the crater flange. Continuing on we now hike and ascend to Uhuru Peak, which is the highest point in Africa. There are awesome and unbelievable views at every turn. Hikers have your picture taken at the summit to show your friends and family. From here we descend, stopping for lunch and a rest at Kibo before continuing on to the Horombo camping ground. The starting of this climb to the summit is done in the dark and involves headlamps or flashlights. It will be very cold until you start descending, so you will need all of your warm layers and jackets. This is by far the most difficult part of the trek with many switchbacks. Hike(s) are best informed going slowly “pole pole” and an optimistic attitude will get you at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest point in Africa.

Day six (6): Horombo huts – Marangu gate – Moshi

A long trek is in store for today, however it is mostly downhill. Once at the park headquarters at Marangu Gate hiker(s) pick up our certificate that shows our success and the driver from Africa natural tour will pick you up to the hotel.

Day seven (7): Arusha/Moshi to Tarangire National Park

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Moshi/Arusha at 06:00am and drive you to Tarangire National Park. After arrival at the park, all formalities will be handled and your adventure to wild Tarangire begin. Tarangire National Park is one of the most authentic safari destinations in the country, with fewer tourists than major hotspots nearby. Home to the world’s largest concentration of elephants, herds of up to 300 elephants can be seen around the Tarangire River, drinking or enjoying a mud bath. There are a few reasons to get your cameras ready for Tarangire. Besides the herds and herds of wild African animals, enjoy the iconic landscapes of Tanzania: rolling hills scattered with grand Baobab trees against the impossibly blue sky.

Day eight (8): Tarangire/Mto wa mbu to Serengeti National Park

Today you continue your safari in the Serengeti national park. Its stunning landscape can be seen in some of the most impressive nature documentaries. The endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed. The annual wildebeest migration with more than a million wildebeest is probably the highlight of the Serengeti. It is a true spectacle and impressive to watch millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles thunder across the endless plains of the Serengeti. Together with your private guide you will be looking for the herds across the plains. Apart from the migratory animals you will also get to see lots of other animals, like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and many more. Expect to be impressed by the natural beauty of Africa’s most famous park.

Day nine (9): Serengeti National Park

On this trip of a lifetime, we now have a short drive to reach the great Serengeti's Western Corridor, the park's narrow section through which the Great Migration must pass at this time of the year. This is our focus, as the herds of thousands of zebra and wildebeest gather enough strength to cross the Grumeti River. For them, danger lurks in the form of the Nile crocodiles for you, safe in your vehicle, this is a chance to see Nature at its very rawest in this stunning UNESCO World Heritage Site. Animals on the move, animals hunting or being hunted. A varied rich birdlife is present too, as are the Colobus monkeys who inhabit the forests. Each day is different here, unpredictable and full of surprises, but nothing can surpass the Great Migration, that unique natural wonder which involves a cast of breathtaking numbers, literally hundreds of thousands of animals making their annual journey.

Day ten (10): Serengeti Half day to Ngorongoro crater

In the morning, we will have another game drive in Serengeti National Park. Come afternoon, we proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area Olduvai Gorge museum, a famous archaeological location in East Africa. At Laetoli, located 45 km south of Olduvai gorge, you will find hominin footprints preserved in volcanic rock that dates back 3.6 million years ago and represent some of the earliest signs of mankind in the world.

Day eleven (11): Ngorongoro crater

We start with an early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is an extensive highland area along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater as its focal point. Ngorongoro was established to conserve wildlife and other natural resources. It also safeguards the interests of indigenous people and promotes tourism. After a long day of game viewing, we will retire to Moshi/ Arusha for dinner and a night’s rest at your hotel In the late afternoon, we make a short journey from the park to Arusha.

Day twelve (12): Zanzibar Island

Upon arrival Zanzibar airpot, you will meet your Africa Natural Tours guide and pick up you with a private transfer to Abusso Inn Hotel. After lunch we will leave for Prison Island tour then return to hotel for overnight

Day thirteen (13): Spice tour

The morning after breakfast at 9:30 picked up to spice farm where you can see different types of spice and how they grow up plus tasting the seasonal fruits then will have lunch at a spice farm, then will do stone town tour where you can see the historical site, slave market, daily market, narrow streets and later shopping.arrives at the hotel around 18:30. then back to the hotel.

Day fourteen (14): Depature day

After breakfast, you can visit gift shops and explore zanzibar for the last time while waiting for a flight.
