A 5-Day Tanzania Safari Adventure of a Lifetime Itinerary: Day 1: From Arusha or Moshi to Tarangire, then to Mto wa Mbu for an overnight stay; Day 2: From Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park, with an overnight stay at Serengeti; Day 3: From Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater, with an overnight stay at Ngorongoro; Day 4: From Ngorongoro Crater to Mto wa Mbu, where you have an overnight stay; Day 5: From Lake Manyara National Park and back to Arusha or Moshi.
You will depart Arusha or Moshi in the morning and travel to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park, where you can marvel at the vastness of deserted termite mounds and ancient baobab trees. You will either spend your first night in lodgings or do extensive camping at Mto wa Mbu.
After you've had your delicious breakfast on the second day, we'll head off for the Serengeti National Park. Our picnic lunch will be enjoyed on one of the kopjes (rock outcroppings). We will continue to the Serengeti after lunch, where you will be given complete camping amenities and a delicious meal.
Our day will start with an early morning in the Serengeti. The savannah is an active landscape, and the air is flooded with the melodies the birds create as the regenerated daylight starts to light up the whole landscape. Dinner and overnight facilities may be provided at Ngorongoro.
Soon after breakfast in camps or lodges, we can descend to Ngorongoro Crater. We will go to Mto wa Mbu in the late afternoon after the game drive, where you will have dinner and spend the night.
On our last day, we can go to Lake Manyara National Park. We are able to eat our picnic lunch in the beautiful park during afternoon. We'll be able to leave Manyara in the late afternoon and continue to Moshi or Arusha.

After having a tasty breakfast in the morning, we will head to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is a perfect spot for game viewing. The park is usually quiet, and animals like elephants, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, and a wide variety of bird species are found there. You will be transferred to your camp or lodge in Manyara (Mto wa Mbu) for the night before sunset.
Begin your day by departing for Serengeti National Park (Central Serengeti) via the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. Our scenic route will pass along the crater rim, and we will stop for a magnificent look at the crater before proceeding to the Serengeti. The Serengeti National Park is one of Africa's seven natural wonders and is known for its spectacular wildebeest migration. The park is also home to all the big predators and has a fabulous landscape. We will retire to our accommodation in the late hours, and overnight we will stay in central Serengeti.
After breakfast, we will have a full day of game drives in the central Serengeti. After a game drive in the central Serengeti, we return to the lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, we get right on the road towards the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Our drive takes you back through the Serengeti via a different route, offering plenty of opportunities to spot different animals. As far as the eye can see, you can spot thousands upon thousands of beautiful animals in herds like wildebeests and zebras; tall and graceful giraffes; leaping antelopes and gazelles; the powerful African elephant; and the most feared group of animals (predators). Dinner and overnight on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim.
After breakfast, descend into the crater with lunch box enjoying the game drive for more than 7 hours. We will start our day by doing early game drive in the Crater. The area filled with beautiful bird sounds and plenty of fresh air the crater harbors animals such as elands, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, lions, hippos, and several antelopes. After lunch we will head to Arusha, hence become the end of the tour.

Our driver will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha with lunch and take you to Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day tour. The crater has evolved into a unique and integral part of Tanzania's ecosystem. The crater has a large number of animals and a large variety of amazing birds, which rarely move from the area due to the availability of water through wet and dry seasons. In the evening, return to the lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast in your lodge or camp, we'll go to the Serengeti. We will have a full-day game drive in this part of the park to view the great migration. The Serengeti is believed to hold the largest population of lions in Africa, due in part to the abundance of prey species. The park is well known for its healthy stock of other resident wildlife, particularly the "Big Five," named for the five most prized trophies taken by hunters. Get ready for some amazing sightings and natural scenes.
After breakfast at the camp or lodge, we depart with your picnic lunch for a game drive and to view the great migration. The Serengeti National Park has exceptionally high resident wildlife numbers in the Wagakuria area, including prides of lions; however, the area transforms into a wildlife paradise from July, August, September, and early October. The Mara River is the main feature, and it is not uncommon to see herds cross to the north on one day and then back south a few days later.

to actually find a crossing sometimes is very difficult and is a matter of luck.
After breakfast, enjoy a fantastic full day of game drives at the Mara River, viewing the great migration river crossing. River crossings at Kogatende start to occur every day in August as the mega herd settles into the area. From August to October, game viewing up here is superb, with river crossings pretty much guaranteed every day. Back to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Depart after breakfast for morning game drive. In the afternoon, transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your flight to Arusha. Without accommodations, you will only get breakfast on this day.
